Indicating a Milestone Was Reached

To indicate a milestone was reached:

  1. Open the account where the milestone was reached.

  2. Click the Status tab.

  3. Complete one of the following:

  4. Click the Account button to indicate a federal tax return milestone was reached.

  5. Click the Beneficiary button to indicate a beneficiary milestone was reached.

  6. Click the State button to indicate a state tax return milestone was reached.

  1. If the account you opened has more than one federal or state tax return or beneficiary, select the type of federal tax return, the beneficiary or the state from the drop-down list located above the Account button.

  2. In the Milestone grid, select the check box in the Done column that corresponds to the milestone that was reached.

The milestones that were defined for the account are displayed in the Milestone description column.  Notice that, after you select the check box in the Done column, the date and time the milestone was reached automatically displays in the corresponding Date column and your name displays in the corresponding Name column.

  1. Click the Save button.
